A pressure group, the Northern Nigeria Youth Organization recently hosted a United Nations Volunteers Organization, the International Association of World Peace Advocates, IAWPA/United Nations Volunteers for World Peace Association of Nigeria, UNWPAN, and the Executive Director, United Nations Association of Africa, represented by their spokesman, Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nweke,
The 11th July visit by the envoy accompanied by his wife, Ambassador Mrs. Nweke, and His Eminence, Ambassador Bishop Professor Chidi Ehiriodo, the National Director, IAWPA, was a familiarization and Interactive parley used to consolidate relationship and proffer ways of collaboration towards making the forthcoming International youth peace day a huge success in Nigeria and in order to ensure peace and tranquility in the Nigeria society,
Strategies for job creation for youths also formed the basis of the discussion at the August session.
Comrade Salisu Damuttaqa, Chairman NNYO, Lagos State and Coordinator South West, appreciated the visitors on behalf of NNYO and assured them of effectiveness,
He proceeded to reciprocate the gesture extended to him by the visiting organization that had earlier conferred a chartered fellowship award on him by bestowing the NNYO Honorary membership on Ambassador Emmanuel Nweke.
Ambassador Emmanuel Nweke Is also the Executive Director, United Nations Association of Nigeria,
Some years ago, Comrade Salisu Damuttaqa was awarded and appointed as eminence Ambassador, International Director & United Nations diplomat but was decorated at the NNYO secretariat on this great day having been certified and having a satisfying procedure,
The NNYO is at the forefront of sensitizing and educating youths of the North and Nigeria at large towards patriotism and Integration for peace, unity, and development,
