The singer’s stage name was given to him by his friends due to his ability of philosophizing on what makes the universe and things outer space to come to existence. He first broke into the scene with the hit “Opor,” featuring “Italo Vibes 999” released in 2023. He has since gained more hits, including “Grind,” and more. He is renowned for his melodic hooks and stacked vocals which has become his signature style.

Small Ghod was Inspired by Africa and Nigeria’s most prominent musicians, including Olamide, Bella Shmurda, Zlatan, Erigga and late Mohbad, Asake began making music professionally in 2016. His music fuses elements of Hip Hop, Rap, Highlife, Afrobeats, and Gyration into one.
