Nafisatu Kassim, better known in the entertainment industry as Naf Kassi has been crowned the Artist of the Year at this year’s Wassaman Entertainment and Business Awards.
Naf Kassi beat stiff competition from the “Praise” hitmaker Fameye to win the coveted and ultimate award.
Naf Kassi’s popular hit song ‘Yesi Yesi’ won her the Song Writer and Highlife Artiste of the year award.
Be that as it may, Naf Kassi bagged three nominations and has won all hence making her the first and only female musician/nominee to set a record of winning every category nominated for in the history of the Wassaman Entertainment & Business Awards.
In additon, accepting the award on behalf of Naf Kassi on the night, DJ Ixman thanked the media, management, fans, promoters, bloggers, DJs, Primac, and all and sundry for supporting and contributing to the brand Naf Kassi
Meanwhile, The award-winning musician has hinted of releasing an Album and a EP in 2023
Naf Kassi has loads of amazing songs to her credit including Me Mbo Tu, Odo, Obra, Odo pa, Famame among others.
The 2022 WEBA show came off last Saturday, December 10th at Bogoso Golden Hotel and it saw deserving radio presenters and artists being duly rewarded for their hard work and crafts.
The 4th edition of the event also saw performance from Chris Tales, Morris Makafui, Blaq Mic, Sankofa Crew, Jhoe Saz and many more.
