A new jam is already doing great numbers on the African streets having been crafted, recorded and performed by award winning Kenyan act Jabidii of “SHOOT SATAN” hit music and his Ghanaian Counterpart Kobbysalm from West Africa. Kevin Amenge and Samuel Adjei are their id names respectively.

Their incidental meeting at the Africa Gospel Awards in 2019 paved way for friendship and sooner or later they got to jump on this hot jam together.

We would say “Let’s dance Africa “dance crew added more color and décor if not synergy to the epic video backed up by very elating and soothing lyrics performed in an upbeat dancehall vibe. The crew’s dance choreography gives the song “Fabegye” more life even after justice done by Jabidii and Kobbysalm.

The two embarked on a relatable and quite a creative tune posing for culture and inspiration to produce an all-round piece of art. So thrilling is the intermarriage of West African dialect and Nairobian Sheng. A one of a kind blend of the decade. The instrumentations carries the day, with the production team finding a balance that suites both the markets.

Fabegye ideally stands for “take, come, collect. Or rather bring something in return of something. In other words it is a way of coming for blessings and coming as you are.

Fabegye did give the two team’s difficult time especially during the video shoot but we must all admit the hustle was worth it. Shot both in Ghana and Kenya, the production team took their time to create a captivating scenic ambience for every shot.

Ghana’s Kobbysalm shot to limelight after the release of his debut song “I wish I could sing” under GUESS WHO IT IS FAMILY label. He has since then worked with notable names like Nkay and Okay Sokay of Nigeria, Canton Jones of USA, Adomaa and Empress Gifty from Ghana.

The EP “Uncommon” with Kingzkid of Ghana did play a critical role in shaping Kobbysalm music career.

As of Jabidii, the name rings a bell, being one of the most industrious and talented Kenyan street musicians of all time. He gives the gospel ministry meaning and has been able to collaborate with Timeless Noel among other household faces in the Kenyan mainstream .Shoot Satan is one his greatest hits.
