Timo Werner was born on March 6, 1996 in Stuttgart, Germany, to Gunther Schuh (father) and Sabine Werner (mother). He grew up with a burning desire to be a Footballer. He had the support of his father who became his personal trainer, putting under intense fitness training and coaching so has to improve his skills and help him build his stamina.

In 2013, Timo Werner began his professional senior career at VfB Stuttgart where he started playing for the club’s Under 19 before his eye catching performances earned him a call up to the senior team. His senior debut came in a UEFA Europa League qualifying match against PFC Botev Plovdiv. Moving on, he later featured in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal, which made him the youngest player to play in the league and tournament.

Timo Werner also made history with the club, by becoming the youngest player to ever score a brace in a single match. He made a total of 95 appearances, scoring 13 goals for the German side. After the club relegated in 2016, he moved to RB Leipzig. After signing a four year deal with RB Leipzig for a record fee of €10 million, he didn’t take long for him to be integrated into the first team. In his debut season for the club, he bagged an impressive 21 goals, helping the club to book a ticket to their first ever champions league.
