A C-130 Philippine Air Force aircraft with 96 people on board crashed in Sulu, Philippines on Sunday. An investigation has been ordered into the crash, after the plane attempted to land at Jolo Airport but overshot the runway and crashed in the nearby town of Patikul, Reuters reports. On Monday military officials confirmed 50 people were killed in the crash, including 47 military personnel and three civilians. A total of 49 military personnel and four civilians were also injured, CNN reports.
