Dai Verse bursts onto the scene yet again with a new stunning acoustic version of his fan favorite ‘Cocaine‘, singing and dazzling us with lush vocals while at it!

The Imo born virtuoso, Dai Verse, in a not so glaring way, unburdens himself; singing of lost love and heartbreak on the emotion-laden record. He likens the feeling, the ‘rush’ one gets from the intake of cocaine to what he used to feel whenever he was with his heartbreaker.

According to Dai Verse, the inspiration for the song came from a place of lost love, a place of hurt, a place of desire and a place of lust.
‘The song Cocaine came at a point in my life when i was going through a heartbreak’ he says, ‘the only thing that made sense to me at the time was music, music was the only thing i could relate to, the only thing i could use to tell my story.’
